Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a trauma and stressor-related disorder that can develop after a traumatic or stressful event. This can occur after witnessing or experiencing a disturbing event, including physical or sexual assault, natural disaster, war, accidents, and domestic violence. Symptoms of PTSD don’t typically show up immediately after the event. Instead, they may appear several weeks or months later, after any physical scars have likely healed.
We give hope to those who suffer from treatment-resistant circumstances.
It is our main mission to make a comfortable and safe environment for each person.
Ketamine infusions significantly reduce symptom severity in individuals with chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the improvement is rapid and maintained for several weeks afterward, according to a study conducted by researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The study, published on January 5, 2021, in the American Journal of Psychiatry, is the first randomized, controlled trial of repeated ketamine administration for chronic PTSD and suggests this may be a promising treatment for PTSD patients.
At Beverly Hills Ketamine Clinic, we focus on every patient’s medical needs and will address their conditions tailored to them.
